Two killed in flash floods in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district

At least two people were killed and four injured in Thadedhar village of Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district on Sunday due to flash floods caused by a cloudburst, ANI reported.

The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.

Flashflood hit the village after a cloudburst followed with heavy rains in the area, ANI reported.

“The incident happened around 3 am when it was raining heavily in the area. Massive damage have been caused to the roads and private properties of locals. Some cattle heads also perished. Rescue teams are camping there,” Kullu deputy commissioner was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.
