Burqa-clad terrorists stormed into a bank in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag on Monday, reportedly escaping with Rs 5 lakhs cash.

The terrorists looted the Jammu and Kashmir Bank located in Anantnag district's Arwani Bijbehara on Monday.

CCTV footage obtained by ANI showed the terrorists brandishing their weapons, as bank officials and customers looked on helplessly.

This is the third bank robbery by terrorists in two months.

On July 11, the Shopian Police arrested three people accused of robbing a bank and weapon snatching at the Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Imam Sahab.

On June 7, an attempt by unknown armed persons to loot a bank in Pulwama's Wanpora area was foiled by security personnel.
