A suicide bomb blast has been reported near the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Headquarters in Dhaka, security officials confirmed to WION.
The attack took place at a RAB camp demarcated for the headquarters of the elite force.
The bomber died in the explosion. The specialised Counter Terrorist and Transnational Crime unit is yet to find access in the perimeter, a member of the unit confirmed to WION.
The Rapid Action Battalion has cordoned the area till the filing of this report.
The blast takes place a day after the police killed four suspected militants in a daylong operation in Sitakundu of Chittagong.
