Home minister Rajnath Singh rebutted an online troll on Tuesday, saying "all Kashmiris are not terrorists".

"The people of Kashmir have strongly condemned the terror attack on Amarnath yatris. It shows the spirit of Kashmiriyat is very much alive," Singh had tweeted on Tuesday.

That was replied to by a Suchi Singh Kalra, who media reports said told Singh that no one cared whether Kashmiriyat was alive or not but that they needed strong action from Singh against the terrorists responsible for yesterday's attack. (She reportedly also used a derogatory word.)

To which Singh replied, "Ms Kalra I certainly do. It is absolutely my job to ensure peace & tranquility in all parts of the country. All Kashmiris are not terrorists."

Media reports said Kalra had described herself on Twitter as an "Editor" of the travel portal Make My Trip.

But she deleted the tweet after Singh's reply to her.

On Monday, seven Amarnath Yatra pilgrims from Gujarat were killed in a terror attack in Anantnag district. Six of the dead were women.

Security personnel have since said the target of the terror attack had been a police party and that the bus carrying the yatris had got caught in the crossfire.
