At least eight people were injured in two separate bomb blasts in Balochistan's Chaman area today, The Dawn reported.

Three security officials were among those injured in the attack.

The first explosion took place at the Mall Road and injured two people. The attack was carried out with the help of an improvised explosive device placed near an under-construction building, police sources said.

The second attack took place near a police checkpost in the same area and injured six people, including three security officials.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where an emergency was imposed, The Dawn report said.
