A popular Malayalam actress was abducted and molested by a gang of men late Friday night near Ernakulam town in Kerala, the Malayala Manorama reported.
The report said the men got into the actress' car near Athani in Angamaly.
According to the report, she was assaulted till the car reached Palarivattom in Ernakulam. The men allegedly took photos and videos of her.
The actress was then released.
The actress' former driver Martin was allegedly one of the attackers.
The Malayala Manorama reported that after the actress was released, she went to the home of a director -- seeking his help -- in Kakkanad.
She later spoke to the police and gave them a statement.
