Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq cheered for the Pakistan cricket team as it beat England in the first semi-final match in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in his tweet said people "burst firecrackers" to celebrate Pakistan's win over England in the semi-final.

PDP leader WR Para was quick to play down the cricket match.
"Cricket is a politically neutral institution, it should be seen through the prism of sports only," he said.
Pakistan beat England comfortably by eight wickets to enter the Champions Trophy finals. Pakistan will now play the winner of the second semi-final between India and Bangladesh to be played today in Birmingham.
