The MEA also worded its commitment to extend "all possible assistance, including for treatment of those injured."

An explosives-packed ambulance blew up in a crowded area of Kabul on Saturday in one of the biggest blasts to rock the war-torn city in recent years.

The horrific explosion came just a couple of days after gunmen stormed the office compound of the Save the Children charity in Jalalabad, Afghanistan on Wednesday morning.
