Kabul attack: Death toll rises to 41, 84 injured

According to fresh reports, the attack at Tebyan Social-Cultural activities centre in Kabul has claimed 41 lives so far.

Close to 84 people have been injured, spokesman for Public Health Ministry of Afghanistan told media. 

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack earlier today.

IS's online statement noted that the group targeted the centre with "three bombs followed by a suicide," noted an AFP report.
