India lodges protest with Pakistan over civilian deaths in J&K ceasefire violation

India on Saturday lodged a strong protest with Pakistan over death of two Indian civilians in ceasefire violations across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars early morning in Poonch sector, ANI reported.

According to ANI, two civilians have been killed in the firing.

The violation took place around 6:30 am today.

The Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.
