The suspected IED bomb was planted by unidentified militants, police superintendent of Imphal West district said
A bomb explosion in northeast India's Imphal has injured two soldiers of India's armed police force.
The bomb exploded near Imphal West's deputy commissioner's office today (Saturday) evening.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were returning from the office when the blast occurred at Lamphelpat under Lamphel Police Station, said N Herojit, Superintendent of Police (SP) Imphal West district.
The two suffered minor injuries and were admitted to a hospital around 6.20 pm.
Herojit said the was planted by unidentified militants.
