India: Cho Ramaswamy, close friend to Jayalalithaa, dies at 82

Indian journalist and political analyst Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy, popularly known as Cho Ramaswamy, died on Wednesday morning at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. He was 82.
According to the Indian Express, he died of a heart attack.
Ramaswamy was a close friend and advisor to late Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa.
He was the founder and editor of the Tamil magazine, Thuglak.

He was also an actor, comedian, lawyer, and film director.
Ramaswamy and Jayalalithaa have worked together in 19 films and also had been part of the same drama troupe.
