India: Foreign ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay appointed joint secretary in PMO

India’s foreign ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay was appointed as joint secretary in the Prime Minister's Office on Friday.
Baglay will replace Vinay Mohan Kwatra, who has appointed as India's ambassador to France.
His appointment as joint secretary in the PMO was cleared by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) headed by PM Modi.
Consul General of India in Frankfurt (Germany) Raveesh Kumar will replace Gopal Baglay as the foreign ministry spokesperson.
