The Gorkhaland Territorial Administration tourist information office at Chowrasta in Darjeeling was set on fire by a mob on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday, Gorkhaland supporters had set ablaze a panchayat office and had damaged government vehicles on the 28th day of the indefinite shutdown.
The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha along with other hill parties a few days ago had decided to go on fast-unto-death to press the Bengal government for a separate state of Gorkhaland.
The hill parties have formed the Gorkhaland movement coordination committee to put pressure on the Bengal government.
The committee has set a deadline till tomorrow(July 14) for the chairmen and vice chairmen of all the development boards set up by the West Bengal government to step down.
