A Delhi Court has summoned Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh and other accused in the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh's wife Pratibha Singh has also been summoned by the court. The Congress party chief minister has been accused by the CBI of amassing assets worth nearly Rs 10 crore.

The chief minister was quick to hit back blaming the BJP, calling it a 'political vendetta' against him.

"The fight has just begun and I know the truth will prevail. All cases against me are fabricated. This is a conspiracy against me stitched by some BJP leaders like Prem Kumar Dhumal and Anurag Thakur," Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh told ANI.

The other accused who have been summoned by the court are: Ram Prakash Bhatia, Lawan Kumar Roach, Prem Raj, Joginder Singh Ghalta, Chunni Lal Chauhan and Vakamulla Chandrasekhar.
