Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala, and his friend Ashish, who are accused of stalking a woman, have been sent to two-day police custody by a local court.

Earlier, the accused admitted during questioning that he was stalking Varnika Kundu's car, ANI cited sources as saying.

Vikas and the other accused in the case Ashish were arrested on Wednesday after the police added the charge of attempt to abduction to the earlier charges.

Haryana chief minister M L Khattar said that the law will take its own course.

Both Vikas and Ashish were arrested soon after the incident but were later released on bail as they had been booked under bailable offences of the IPC.
