Bengaluru: Five arrested for attacking Chinese national

Five men accused of attacking a Chinese national with knives in Bengaluru were arrested by the Police on Monday. 

 A case of attempt to robbery and dacoity has been registered based on the CCTV footage of the attack. 

The accused were identified as Mani Manikantha, Vijay, Arunkirran and Sharath.

The Police have also recovered two 2-wheelers which were used for committing the crime. 

Earlier on Saturday, Yan, a Chinese national was assaulted by five men on bikes as he was waiting for his cab in the Indira Nagar area. 

The attackers tried to snatch Yan's mobile and attacked him with knives when he resisted. Yan got injured in the attack but somehow managed to escape. He was later taken to a nearby hospital.
