The bus travelling in Shimla district was carrying more than 50 passengers
ANI reports that 45 people have died after a bus fell into the Tons River in the Shimla district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The bus itself was reportedly carrying more than 50 passengers.
Emergency dispatchers have been sent right away.
Uttarakhand government announced compensation of Rs 1 lakh for kin of those dead, Rs 50,000 for severely injured and Rs 25,000 for injured.
