India's defence minister Arun Jaitley has said that the armed forces are ready to face any eventuality.
"Our defence forces are ready to take on any eventuality," he said.
The defence minister was responding to a question based on reports of troop movement in Tibet by China, reported PTI.
The defence minister, on Wednesday, had said that India faced two types of challenges from its neighbours and it kept on strengthening its armed forces after every experience.
The statement comes in the wake of a standoff between Indian and Chinese troops at Doklam. According to reports, the Indian Army has asked local villagers to vacate the area near the India, Bhutan and China trijunction.
India has asked the Chinese establishment to resolve the ongoing standoff through dialogue. But the Chinese establishment is defiant saying that a dialogue could take place only after the Indian troops withdraw from Doklam.
