The minor son of a diplomat from an African country stationed in Delhi has allegedly sodomised his classmate, media reports said.

The victim is the son of a diplomat from a South East Asian country.

A complaint has been filed against the 12-year-old boy, but the police are in a fix since the accused enjoys diplomatic immunity. The police have, however, registered a case in South Delhi police station, reports said.

The school has meanwhile rusticated the accused.

The victim, in his complaint, said the sexual assault happened in March and that it continued over a period of time, PTI reported.

The accused student visited the police station on June 24 along with his family members. He, in turn, accused the alleged victim of sexually assaulting him, reports added.

Police said the family of the accused student enjoyed diplomatic immunity, which is why he has not yet been arrested.
