"My government will be for everyone, not specifically for any caste or community," the new chief minister of UP Yogi Adityanath said in the Lok Sabha today
"We will work for the development of all sections and castes and create a new structure of progress," he added.
Adityanath, the surprise pick for chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, is still a member of the Lok Sabha.

Adityanath is a Hindutva hardliner and there has been much hand-wringing over what sort of chief minister he will be.
The UP election results have been interpreted as a vote for "development", and Adityanath does not quite fit that bill.
