After introducing its first set of modular phones in India last year, Lenovo has now brought the Moto Z2 Play to the country. The new modular phone is the successor to the last-gen Moto Z Play and will be available for Rs 27,999. The phone will go on sale after June 14 on Flipkart and across all retail stores. People, however, can pre-book the device till then.
Lenovo has released four Moto Mods for the Moto Z2 Play - JBL SoundBoost 2, Moto Turbopower Pack, Moto Game Pad and Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging. According to the company, more Moto Mods will be launched in India later this year.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor with up to 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, the Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch full HD display. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
It has a 12 megapixel dual-autofocus rear camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera. Available in two colours - Lunar Gray and Fine Gold, the Moto Z2 Play has an internal storage of 64 GB with microSD card support of up to 2TB.
The phone was first unveiled to the world on June 1, 2017.
