Malaysia Airlines cancels flight

While police tried to play down the incident, passengers said the drama onboard lasted for 90 minutes. The flight was cancelled as Malaysia Airlines said the plane's passengers would be put up at hotels nearby and offered another flight. Melbourne airport said inbound and outbound flights had been affected and advised passengers to check with their airlines. (AFP)
