Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the Cannes red carpet in a series of stunning outfits for her first day at the festival.
Ash, 43, wore a mauve Michael Cinco ball gown to the premiere of the film "Okja" on May 19.
The actress chose an equally dramatic Mark Bumgarner gown for her appearance earlier in the day.
Aishwarya was a goddess in green as she posed for pictures at the French Riviera, wearing a Yanina Couture dress.
Aishwarya who represents cosmetic giant L'Oréal at the event, is a regular at the Cannes Film Festival since 2002, when she presented her film "Devdas". In 2003, she became the first Indian actress to be a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival.
The actress will attend the screening of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed "Devdas" once more during the festival.
Besides Ash, Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor are also walking the Cannes red carpet.
The Cannes Film Festival, which opened on May 17, will come to an end on May 28.
