Kailash Kher accused event companies for making it a trend to get actors instead of singers for music concerts. Stung by the criticism, Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha clarified on Twitter declaring "if anyone has a problem, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself... they can go love themselves".
Canadian songwriter and singer Justin Bieber's Mumbai debut concert in India is almost here. But before all of that happens, there's a lot of talk in the air about who all are going to perform at the gig.
Recently, singer Kailash Kher reacted to the news of Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha supposedly being a part of the concert. Kailash Kher feels that getting renowned actors on board for a music concert sends out a wrong message internationally.
While expressing his discontent, he accused event companies for making it a trend to get actors instead of singers for music concerts, declaring, "We don't get singer for another singer, but actor... Event managers and producers of entertainment industry are so scared." he said.
Stung by the criticism, Sonakshi Sinha on Twitter clarified speculation about her performance in the Justin Biber gig.
Sonakshi said, "Firstly, I am not performing at the Bieber concert. It was speculated because I was approached and carried forward by publications and portals even after I stated in various interviews that it's not happening. Secondly, I am an actor who loves music, who loves to perform and who loves to sing. And if anyone has a problem with that, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself... they can go "love" themselves. Over and out."
The concert will take place on 10th May in DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. Norwegian music producer and DJ Alan Walker will be opening the concert for Bieber.
