HBO announced some prettyyyy, prettyyy good news Monday: Seinfeld-creator Larry David's hit show Curb Your Enthusiasm is returning after six years for a ninth season.

Larry David, who plays a lightly/barely fictionalised version of himself on the show, is making his return on October 1.

The curmudgeon was badly missed.

Details are few, but main characters like Jeff Garlin, Leon and Susie are all reportedly back, according to the New York Times.

In the meantime, watch of some of the funniest Curb moments from over the years to hold you over until October.
