The SS Rajamouli-directed magnum opus "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" has become the first Indian film to
cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office on its opening day on Friday, a Box Office India report said.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh concurred, tweeting that the film had shattered all records to creat history at the box office.
Taran Adarsh said the film - which released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi - netted Rs 121 crore, with the Hindi version alone minting Rs 41 crores. He added that the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions had made 80 crores.

At Rs 155 crore, the net money earned by the film on its opening day was Rs 100 crore more than previous record holder Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's 55 crores.
"Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" stars southern actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in key roles.
Its prequel "Baahubali: The Beginning" hit screens in 2015.
