The world music duo Maati Baani recently released a cover of Michael Jackson's 'Heal the World' with 45 child artists from around the world performing together as a tribute to the deceased singing star, hailed as the King of Pop.
The music video was released on August 29, Michael Jackson's birthday.
The video features children aged 7 to 13, singing, tap dancing and playing instruments.
Among them are tap dancers from the USA, a pianist and a tabla player from India, singers and guitarists from USA and Canada, a harpist from Russia and choirs from South Africa and the US. The song starts with 13-year-old Jonathan Carollo playing beats on a washing machine.
The band's twitter page was full of appreciation tweets from fans who were moved by the band's tribute to the King of Pop.
The video shared on the band's Facebook page has received four million views since it was posted on Monday.
Maati Baani is a world music band combining elements of Hindustani classical music with various genres.
'Heal the World' was a single released in 1991, as part of Jackson's album 'Dangerous'. Jackson later founded the Heal the World foundation, named after the song, for the improvement of conditions of children worldwide.
