Indian security forces today gunned down a terrorist linked to the Amarnath Yatra terror attack.
The encounter which had started on Monday in south Kashmir's Qazigund area led to the death of three terrorists, one terrorist Rashid Ahmed was caught alive.

The second terrorist has been identified as Yawar Bashir Wani.
"Two foreigners Furqan and Mavia were killed in the Qazigund encounter," IGP Kashmir Muneer Khan said.
Abu Furqan who was killed was reportedly the divisional commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) in Kashmir. He took over as commander of LeT after the death of Abu Ismail in an encounter with security forces in September.
Ismail was believed to be the "architect" behind the Amarnath Yatra attack. Intelligence officials believe Furqan was involved in the Amarnath Yatra attack.
At least seven people were killed when a bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims came under fire from terrorists on July 11 near Khanabal while it was on its way to Jammu.
