Two generals on board Army helicopter that crashed in Ladakh

Two generals were on board when an Army Advanced Light Helicopter crashed in eastern Ladakh at about 1.30 pm on Tuesday.

The crew and passengers are safe.
Media reports named the two generals as Lt General SK Upadhya who commands the Army's 14 Corps based in Leh.
And Major General Savneet Singh who commands the Army's 3 Infantry Division based in Karu, about 40 kilometres out of Leh

The Army has ordered a court of enquiry to look into what might have caused the accident.
The Advanced Light Helicopter is an high-altitue Army workhorse.
