Twitter infuriated over Congress leader Digvijay Singh's offensive tweet on PM Modi

Congress leader Digvijay Singh took a shot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an abusive tweet. In the shared post, Modi's followers were termed as "bhakts", a belittling term used on social media platforms against Modi supporters.

To the post, Singh added a caution statement in the caption saying "Not mine but couldn't help posting it. My apologies to the person concerned. He is the best in the art of fooling!" 

The tweet led to outrage on the social media platform and many expressed their disapproval on the tweet that they claimed was offensive.
