Abhishek, who is grieving his father's death in mob violence over illegal cow slaughter in Bulandshahr, has said ''today my father lost his life in this Hindu-Muslim dispute, tomorrow whose father will lose his life?''
The son of deceased policeman Subodh Kumar Singh has reportedly told news agency ANI that his father wanted him to be a good citizen who doesn't incite violence in society in the name of religion.
Earlier in the day, a wreath-laying ceremony of Kumar was organised in Bulandshahr.
FIR REGISTERED AGAINST 27
Meanwhile, police have named 27 people in the FIR against in connection with the violent protests in Bulandshahr.
At least 60 unnamed people have also been mentioned in the FIR, according to an ANI report.
One FIR has been filed against alleged cattle slaughter and the other against the violent protests which followed, the report added.
