Noida: Outrage against police after bikers shoot dead local businessman

A 22-year-old local businessman Divakar Kansal was shot dead by a group of miscreants on Sunday night.

A group of three robbers attacked the 22-year-old in Bhangel Phase 2, Noida at around 10 pm when he was setting off to his home along with his father after closing their shop.

The robbers shot him dead and took away his bag. 

The bag reportedly had about 5 lakh cash in it. Though, the police have not clarified on the amount looted. 

The robbers came on a bike. 

The killing of the shop owner was followed by huge outrage from the local people who are under immense fear and anger. 

The people protested against the police and also tried to torch their PCR. The police, however, mangaed to escape the place. 

The police have deployed huge police force outside the hospital and area of the accident.

The protest against the police continued on Monday as well. The people also protested outside the police chowki in Bhangel.

The police assure that they will arrest the robbers soon.
