NIA court in Hyderabad had acquitted all five accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blasts.
The special National Investigation Agency(NIA) judge who delivered the Mecca Masjid verdict on Monday resigned today, reports said.
Judge Ravindra Reddy had acquitted all five accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blasts which were allegedly carried out by right-wing militants.
The blast had killed nine people and had injured at least 58 people.
Swami Aseemanand, Devendra Gupta, Lokesh Sharma, Bharat Mohanlal Rateshwar and Rajendra Chowdhary were set free by the court today.
Two other in the case Sandeep V Dange and Ramchandra Kalsangra are absconding while another accused Sunil Joshi was murdered.
