The fire brigade investigation report in connection with Mumbai's Kamala mills fire has revealed that fire originated from MoJo's Bistro and then spread to 1 Above pub.

The report said the cause of the fire was due to the charcoal used for hookah.

The management of 1-Above had previously claimed that they are being "targeted". They blamed Mojo's Bistro on the floor below for not having an emergency exit, leading to overcrowding of the escape avenues at 1-Above.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai police today registered FIR against the owners of Mojo Bistro and 1 Above pubs for alleged illegal construction.

The police issued a lookout notice for the Sanghvi brothers, the owners of 1 Above pub. The accused pub owners are yet to be arrested and the police are still trying to trace them.

The Mumbai police have announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for the person who gives information about three accused in the Kamala Mills fire.
