Earthquake of 5.5 magnitude hits Manipur, no casualties reported

An earthquake measuring 5.5 of magnitude struck Imphal, capital of Manipur, on Sunday.

The tremors were felt in afternoon around 12 PM.

There were no reports of any casualties or damages to properties. 

In January 2016, 6.7 magnitudes of the earthquake hit Manipur leaving 200 people injured and at least 11 people dead.

The tremors of that earthquake were felt even in Bangladesh, making it one of the damaging earthquake of Manipur.
