The road show, which began from Ahmedabad airport ended at the Sabarmati Ashram after traversing nearly eight kilometres.The two leaders repeatedly waved to the crowds that lined up the streets as performers presented traditional dance enroute.The roadshow, designed to showcase India’s cultural diversity, saw artists from several states performing on 50 stages erected by the roadside.
Immediately after the welcome ceremony, Netanyahu, his wife Sara, and Modi set-off on an 8-km roadshow for the Sabarmati Ashram where apostle of peace Mahatma Gandhi spent considerable time of his life.

Many dance troupes are performing different traditional dances along the road.
The leaders embark on a roadshow from the airport to Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, who is accompanied by his wife Sara, was given a ceremonial reception on his arrival at the airport. Artistes performed a traditional Gujarati dance showcasing the state's rich cultural traditions.

In lieu of the roadshow, many roads along the route have been temporarily closed by civic authorities to ensure seamless travel for the two leaders. However, this may hamper normal life in the city.
