Karnataka assembly elections: BJP releases second list of 82 candidates

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday released the second list of its candidates for the upcoming Karnataka elections.

The second list for the Karnataka assembly polls includes 82 candidates. 

On April 8, the party had released its first list including 72 candidates.

BJP's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa will contest the elections from the Shikaripura constituency.

Rival party Congress had released a list of 218 candidates for the Karnataka polls on Sunday. 

Elections in Karnataka will be held on May 12 in a single phase.
