Tuli said he decided to surrender after his bail plea got rejected by a Mumbai sessions court.

Speaking to media persons, Tuli had cited,”I have come to surrender since my bail plea got rejected. I was waiting for the anticipatory bail in Amritsar.”

Tuli had been on the run - around the country - since his name was included in the FIR on January 6 as one of the people accused.

A 'look out notice' had also been issued against him at all the airports in the country.

As per media reports, Tuli had earlier managed to give slip to the police thrice in last two weeks before surrendering himself today.

After the arrest of Tuli, all the owners of the Mojo’s Bistro and ‘1 Above’ have been arrested.

Nearly 14 people died and 21 were left injured after a deadly fire engulfed Mojo’s Bistro and the adjacent 1 Above pub, at the Kamala Mills compound on December 28 last year.
