At least 14 people died and several others injured in a tragic fire that engulfed a multi-storey building in Kamala Mills.
Abhijeet Mankar, owner of '1 Above' pub, was arrested on Thursday morning in connection with the December 29 Kamala Mills fire here that claimed 14 lives.
The 30-year-old hotelier was on the run along with co-owners of the pub, Kripesh Sanghavi and Jigar Sanghavi, since the day of the incident.
The two brothers, Jigar Sanghavi and Kripesh Sanghavi were arrested from Andheri area on Wednesday night after a massive manhunt was launched to locate them.
The owner trio of 1 Above Kripesh Sanghavi, Jigar Sanghavi and Abhijeet Mankar, had been booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and other offences under the Indian Penal Code.
All three owners of 1 Above were produced in Bhoiwada court today and later sent to police custody till January 17.
On Wednesday, Mumbai police had arrested Juhu-based hotelier Vishal Kariya for sheltering three owners of '1 Above' pub - Kripesh Sanghvi, Jigar Sanghvi and Abhijeet Mankar - at his Juhu residence.
Vishal Kariya was arrested after the police seized a vehicle belonging to Abhijeet Mankar.
The only accused missing now is Yug Tuli, the owner of Mojo's Bistro pub.
"Now our teams are in search of Yug Tuli, one of the owners of Mojo's Bistro pub, who is also on the run," another police official said.
Tuli was spotted at Hyderabad airport day before yesterday, but was unable to fly. He later disappeared from the spot, he said.
Last week, Yug Pathak, one of the owners of the Mojo's Bistro pub, was arrested and sent to five-day police custody.
Yug Pathak and Yug Tuli are the owners of Mojo's Bistro pub.
The Mumbai police have sent the managers of the pub '1 Above' Kevin Bawa and Lisbon Lopezto to judicial custody till January 22nd.
On December 29, a massive fire had swept through the '1 Above' and adjacent Mojo's Bistro resto pub in Kamala Mills compound in central Mumbai, resulting in the death of 14 people.
