Incumbent Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday expressed confidence of Bharatiya Janata Party winning the state assembly elections.

Speaking at Madhya Pradesh's Umaria, Chouhan stated that there could not be a biggest surveyor than him and therefore he is certain of the saffron party winning the elections.

"There cannot be a surveyor bigger than me, someone who is among the people day in and day out. Therefore I am saying this confidently that BJP will form the govt. This is important for people, poor, farmers, children and women," Chouhan noted.

Chouhan, earlier this week exuded confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would get a comfortable majority in the recently-concluded Assembly elections in the state.

"We will get a good majority. It's not correct to say a number. I don't lie. You will see on (December) 11th (counting day). The BJP will get a comfortable majority," Chouhan noted.

Madhya Pradesh went to polls on November 28. The final result of the electoral battle will be made public after the counting of votes concludes on December 11.
