Welcome To New York trailer: Karan Johar, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha feature in 'India's first 3D comedy'

The trailer of Welcome To New York is out and it has a bevy of stars playing key roles. Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha play talent show winners who travel to New York city to participate in the international event. 

The film also features Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rana Daggubati playing themselves, Incidentally, Johar has a double role in the film- one where he plays himself and the other as the antagonist. 

The film also features Lara Dutta and Boman Irani. Superstar Salman Khan on Monday launched the trailer on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon. 

Director Chakri Toleti said in a statement: "We have an extraordinary cast in our film, but the beauty is how they complement each other. It was a pleasure working with such talented actors, as especially in comedy, timing is everything."

The movie tells the story of two unlikely youngsters living in India in search of a better life for themselves. An unexpected trip to New York City sets them off on a comedic adventure that changes their lives forever.

The makers are pitching the film as India's first 3D comedy and it has been directed by Chakri Toleti who has in the past directed the Tamil remake of A Wednesday, titled Unnaipol Oruvan. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, the film will release on February 23rd.
