Dense fog following a bitter cold wave continued to hamper train operations in Delhi on Friday.
Twenty-one trains were cancelled, 23 rescheduled and 55 delayed because of low visibility or operational reasons, ANI reported.
Earlier in the morning, 18 trains were cancelled, 35 delayed, and two rescheduled due to low visibility caused by the persisting cold wave.
During fog, visibility becomes very low and trains have to run at a highly-restricted speed to ensure the safety of the passengers causing considerable delays in their movement.
