BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has suggested his party to implement "Indian climate-friendly" clothing for its members.
Swamy decribed western attire as "foreign imposed slavishness".
"Western dress is a foreign imposed slavishness. BJP should make it party discipline for Ministers to wear Indian climate-friendly clothes," he tweeted.

Swamy also suggested a party-wide ban on alcoholic drinks for BJP ministers.
The BJP leader expressed that that although he does not support a nation-wide ban on alcohol, he would like to propose an alcohol ban for the party members.
"Article 49 of Constitution directs alcohol drinks be banned. While I am not for penal action, BJP should make as part of party discipline," noted his tweet.
