Hours after the Border Security Force conducted a counter operation against the Pakistan Army's ceasefire violation, DG BSF addressed the media talking about the retaliation.
He said that the BSF never starts a gun battle with the Pakistan troops. However, when they do so they make sure a strong action is taken against them.
Border Security Force DG A Suresh said "We retaliated effectively which led to damage on that (Pakistan) side. BSF never starts it but when they do, we make sure we take strong action. Martyrdom of head constable A Suresh will not go in vain."
He said that the place where the operation was conducted had a stream nearby, however, the troops made sure that the no infiltration takes place.

I do not see any indication in a change in the attitude of Pakistan. If they keep doing this, they will receive a befitting reply from us, like it is happening now: Hanraj Ahir, MoS Home on ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Samba's RS Pura sector in #JammuAndKashmirpic.twitter.com/9rN9APYOYh
