Reports said Pakistan Army chief met Pakistani Rangers as India's border security force(BSF) released a video on Monday and informed about the planned firing on Pakistan's post.(Watch Video)
On Monday, India and Pakistan troops were engaged in cross-border firing as tensions rose along the border. The BSF said it retaliated against ceasefire violations by Pakistan destroying several posts on the border.
The BSF said it had fired 9,000 rounds of mortar shells in the last four days.
12 people have killed since Pakistani Rangers started firing on Indian positions since last Thursday.
As tensions built on the border, Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa warned India saying any Indian "aggression" or "misadventure" will always get a most befitting response during his visit to the Line of Control(LoC) and Working Boundary in Khuiratta and Ratta Arayan sectors.
General Bajwa directed enhanced protective measures including construction of more community shell protection shelters for civil population along the border.
