5 CRPF personnel injured after terrorists attack convoy in Jammu and Kashmir

At least five CRPF personnel were injured today in the militant attack.

At least five personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured after terrorists attacked one of their vehicles in Mominabad, in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district. 

''Terrorists opened fire on the vehicle of the 96 Battalion CRPF at Lazibal in Anantnag district at 8.30 am,'' said a police official.

He said that three jawans received bullet injuries while two others were injured after getting hit by broken glass panes of the vehicle.

The injured personnel have been admitted to a hospital, he said, adding that an operation has been launched to track down the assailants.
