'Simmba' trailer: Ranveer Singh as the immoral cop packs a powerful punch

After a critically acclaimed performance as Allauddin Khilji in 'Padmavat', Ranveer Singh turns an immoral cop in a Rohit Shetty's masala potboiler 'Simmba. The film's trailer as launched amid much fanfare in Mumbai on Monday afternoon. 

From the trailer, it picks up from the last Singham film where a young boy grows up emulating Singham and joins the police force. He is brave yet immoral and is willing to take the extra bucks to live a good life until an incident changes his perspective on people and he decides to use his power to bring justice. 

Featuring Ranveer Singh in the titular role, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana. It even has Ajay Devgn in a cameo role who reprises his Singham avatar. 

Produced by Karan Johar, this is Shetty's first collaboration with Ranveer Singh. 'Simmba' is set to release on 28th December.
