What can be called the first time when Katrina Kaif addresses her breakup with former flame Ranbir Kapoor, the actress spills the beans in an interview with Vogue magazine.
Appearing as the cover star for December issue of the magazine, Katrina Kaif stunned in heavy curls and a Versace dress with bold belt at the waist. Very similar to how she carries her hair in the upcoming film ‘Bharat’, Katrina looks calm and fierce at the same time as she looks straight into the camera of the photographer.
The cover star who “lets down her guard” as introduced by the magazine, spoke of her break up and said, “It’s probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on. And when you focus on yourself, often, the first thing you realise is that you don’t really know yourself. It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you’re seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments and then accepting that you don’t really know who you are.”
Not one to mince words, Katrina said, “I now see it as a blessing because I was able to recognise my patterns, thought processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective.”
Katrina doesn't believe in regrets and called it “the single-most useless emotion on the planet. Whatever decision you make at that time in your life, it’s the best decision you could have made at that moment. That’s why you made it! Now, it’s hindsight. Of what use is hindsight?”
On the work front, Katrina will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ with Anushka Sharma this December. She is also shooting for Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ that is slated to release around Eid, 2019.
Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor were linked for some years before it was reported that he moved on and started dating 'Brahmastra' co-star Alia Bhatt.
