Shah Rukh Khan may have just done films in Bollywood but the actor's popularity has no bounds. One of the first few from Bollywood to become a global star, the actor's films are loved across the world.
Khan has so far not worked in any Hollywood film but if reports are to be believed Marvel is thinking of roping in the superstar for one of their films. Yes, you read that right!
We all know that Hollywood is diversifying and Marvel has already made 'Black Panther' which has been a huge success.
Now, Stephen Wacker, the Vice President of Creative Development at Marvel has stated that he would want to cast Shah Rukh Khan if MCU makes a film with Indian characters in it. "It's the belief that there is a hero inside all of us. Within each of us is the belief that we can be better than who we are. I think that's exciting for everybody."
''We want to find a way to create characters that have a home in this world so we can bring Indian culture to the core North American Marvel fan. Let them understand a different part of the world too. I think that's going to be an exciting thing for Marvel. My hope is that the fan in India feels just as much part of the Marvel universe as some kid in New York." Stephen told a daily.
When Stephen was asked which Indian actor would he want to cast in the film, he said, "If we make Indian content, we have to put Shah Rukh Khan. He has to be in it."
Now, that's a piece of news that just opens up a whole new set of possibilities!
Khan has played a superhero in his home production Ra.One earlier.
If the film with Marvel does happen, imagine how the actor's stardom would multiply?
